I am passionate about traveling and have traveled to 46 states. I enjoy spending time in Lake of the Ozarks and like boating, fishing and golfing. I relish a good cup of coffee on a chilly morning and a great bottle of wine with dinner. I also served as the treasurer for the South Kansas City Rotary. I served as a board member for Grandview Assistance Program, which helps families who need assistance. We also have a golden retriever named Rogan and a Yorkie named Sophie. My wife, Heidi, and I have four adult children: Jacob, Dylan, Madison and Ian. I moved to Kansas City in 1994 and currently live in Lee's Summit. I was born and raised on the East Coast and still a Philadelphia Eagles fan. I deeply understand the complexities that come with special situations, as I am a father of an autistic adult child. I remain dedicated to keeping up with the most current strategies to serve my clients and I have earned the AAMS® and Chartered Financial Consultant® professional designations. I believe my career path is the direct result of discipline, systematic processes and strong work ethic. Once honorably discharged, I began my career in the financial services industry in 1990. I am very proud to have served four years active duty for the United States Air Force.
